Crusoe is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer specializing in Hypervisor Virtualization to join their Cloud Software Development team. This role focuses on designing and optimizing virtualization technologies for AI workloads, contributing to innovative cloud infrastructure that supports sustainable technology and AI advancements.
Qualification
- Deep understanding of hypervisor internals and virtualization techniques.
- Experience with CPU, memory, and I/O virtualization.
- Proficiency in performance optimization for virtualized environments.
- Familiarity with AI/ML workloads and their requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in system-level issues.
Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize core hypervisor components (e.g., KVM, QEMU) for AI workloads.
- Conduct research into advanced virtualization technologies for AI compute, storage, and networking resources.
- Develop and enhance virtual hardware components and device emulation for AI accelerators.
- Analyze and enhance the performance of the virtualization stack for AI/ML workloads.
- Diagnose and resolve complex system issues within the virtualization layer.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure software quality and security.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams for integrated product development.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
