The role focuses on developing containerized microservices for a distributed multi-tenant system that enhances cybersecurity through real-time insights and visibility. The position emphasizes mentorship, ownership of the software development lifecycle, and collaboration with product management.
Qualification
- Proficiency in Java and experience with the Spring Boot framework.
- Familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes.
- Experience with data pipelines, Kafka, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and operational challenges.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers and interns.
Responsibility
- Develop containerized (micro) services for a distributed multi-tenant system.
- Mentor junior engineers, new-grads, and interns.
- Write code primarily in Java using the Spring Boot framework.
- Work with data pipelines using Kafka/SQL or other interfaces.
- Own critical features and subsystems throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Manage operational aspects of the system to enhance usability and supportability.
- Ensure quality through early developer testing and performance testing.
- Collaborate with Product Management to refine customer requirements.
