Agility Robotics is seeking a Principal Robotics Hardware Architect to lead the architecture team in developing humanoid robots designed for real-world work. The role involves driving system-level design decisions and ensuring the integration of complex subsystems into cohesive robotic systems. The position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area with regular travel to headquarters in Salem, OR.
Qualification
- Proven track record in robotic system design and architecture.
- Deep experience with humanoid or legged robotics.
- Strong systems-level thinking and integration skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various engineering teams.
Responsibility
- Drive the technical vision and hardware architecture of humanoid robotics platforms.
- Ensure the integration of complex subsystems into a cohesive and reliable humanoid robot.
- Partner with leaders across systems, mechanical, electrical, software, perception, and controls.
- Define and evolve the architecture of robotic systems.
- Lead the architecture team in making system-level design decisions.
