Airwallex is seeking a Staff Data Scientist for its Growth Analytics team to lead data-driven strategies that enhance growth across various business functions. The role involves collaboration with Growth, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to leverage data analytics for scalable growth, while mentoring junior data scientists and establishing measurement frameworks.
Qualification
- Proven experience in data science, particularly in growth analytics
- Strong expertise in statistical modeling and experimentation
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to diverse audiences
- Experience in mentoring and leading data science teams
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into data initiatives
Responsibility
- Operate as the technical partner to Growth, Marketing, Sales and Data Science leaders to define and implement Airwallex’s growth strategy
- Lead and mentor the team in applying a variety of data science techniques—root-cause analysis, statistical modeling, and experimentation
- Establish insight-driven approaches to address key business problems and drive business impact
- Build scalable measurement frameworks that enable consistent, data-driven decision-making across teams
- Clearly and persuasively communicate data insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
- Translate open-ended business problems into clearly defined data science initiatives for the team to implement
- Mentor and coach junior data scientists
