The role involves managing complex infrastructure projects, coordinating design efforts, and ensuring quality control while working closely with clients and stakeholders.
Qualification
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- PE License in CT required
- 8+ years of experience in design of structural projects
- Strong project management skills
- Experience with infrastructure projects for CTDOT, local municipalities, and private clients
Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of SOQs, proposals, and contracts
- Research local/state regulations as they pertain to projects
- Make presentations before elected officials and advisory boards, attend conferences, and participate in interviews
- Oversee technical analysis within specialist areas such as load ratings, bridge design, and finite element analysis
- Responsible for project management, including cost control, project budget control, and quality assurance/quality control
- Direct and manage the budgeting and execution of projects including the supervision of assigned staff and subcontractors
