Benesch is seeking a Bridge Design Project Manager with over 10 years of experience in structural project design. The role involves managing complex infrastructure projects, primarily for MassDOT, MBTA, and local municipalities, with a hybrid work schedule based in Boston.
Qualification
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in design of structural projects.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience with infrastructure projects for public agencies.
- Ability to coordinate design efforts across multiple projects and disciplines.
Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of SOQs, proposals, and contracts.
- Research local/state regulations as they pertain to projects.
- Make presentations before elected officials and advisory boards, attend conferences, and participate in interviews.
- Prepare technical analysis within specialist areas such as load ratings, bridge design, and finite element analysis.
- Responsible for project management, including cost control, project budget control, and quality assurance/quality control.
- Direct and manage the budgeting and execution of projects including the supervision of assigned staff and subcontractors.
