The role involves working on transportation projects, performing engineering models, analysis, designs, and coordinating project drafting.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience in structural engineering, particularly in transportation projects.
- Proficiency in engineering modeling and design software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibility
- Collect and assimilate data and perform modeling, analysis and/or design calculations of project elements.
- Draw design details under direction of others.
- Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships to pay items.
- Organize and coordinate project documentation and drafting efforts.
- Collaborate with state and local transportation agencies on various projects.
