The role involves assisting Maryland Transit Administration customers, particularly those with disabilities, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of transit facilities. This temporary position offers a pay rate of $17.53 per hour and is ideal for individuals looking to supplement their income.
Qualification
- Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Own a working cell phone with WiFi/data capability
- Ability to stand for 4 to 12 hours based on applicant's ability
- Advanced knowledge of public transportation in the city including Bus, Light Rail, and Metro
- Competence in using apps and willingness to learn the Transit App
Responsibility
- Assist MTA customers with disabilities to utilize transit facilities
- Direct customers entering or exiting stations and boarding vehicles
- Provide customer service support during bus bridges/shuttles due to construction
- Inspect transit station facilities for cleanliness and safety
- Familiarize with and assist customers using the Transit App during special events
