Qualification

  • Experience in immersive technical projects
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • 5+ years of electrical/design experience
  • Experience in PCB design and ECAD tools (Altium, KiCAD)
  • Hands-on prototyping skills (soldering, board assembly)

Responsibility

  • Execute rapid evaluation of engineering concepts in various fields
  • Identify and manage early vendor relationships
  • Perform trade studies and physics-based analysis
  • Manage internal and external market research
  • Design, implement, and test complex electro-mechanical systems
  • Lead design reviews and define hardware test plans
  • Build prototypes and analyze failures
  • Support hardware demonstrations with customers
  • Travel to test sites as needed
  • Use first principles physics for decision making
