Anduril Industries is seeking a Firmware Engineer II to develop low-level firmware and software for testing and automation in defense technology. The role involves working with interdisciplinary teams to enhance product quality and efficiency through innovative solutions in embedded systems.
Qualification
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong C coding ability for embedded systems.
- Experience integrating microcontrollers with analog and digital sensors.
- Experience developing firmware in bare-metal, RTOS environments, and embedded Linux.
Responsibility
- Build things that test things, utilizing expertise in firmware/software development to anticipate failure modes.
- Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontroller platforms interfacing with robots or control algorithms for data acquisition tools.
- Build capability for device-side validation of system-level features using SSH, gRPC, and existing debug tools.
- Quickly debug and troubleshoot issues spanning electrical, firmware, and software boundaries, transferring processes to automated test and failure analysis SOPs.
- Engage in DFT/DFM reviews with electrical engineering and product firmware teams.
