The Robotics Integration Engineer will work within the Maritime Manufacturing Technology Team to integrate automation control systems with robotic equipment for efficient production of maritime vehicles.
Qualification
- Experience in designing and integrating automated manufacturing systems.
- Familiarity with robotic and gantry equipment and tooling designs.
- Ability to work with internal and external customers on integration projects.
- Knowledge of manufacturing simulation and unified solutions development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking in manufacturing processes.
Responsibility
- Design and create integrated robotic control systems for large scale production.
- Incorporate vision, tracking, motion capture, and scanning systems into production processes.
- Support factory development and future production systems using digital thread and simulation.
- Implement automation and AI to enable lean manufacturing principles.
- Enhance production flow, product performance, and optimize resource allocation.
