The Senior Electrical Engineer will be part of the Tactical Recon & Strike team in Atlanta, GA, responsible for designing and managing embedded control electronics for aerial drones and other military systems.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex embedded systems and products
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with power management and supply design
- Strong skills in using lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes and DMM
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
Responsibility
- Design and own embedded control electronics from concept to production, including hardware selection, schematic & PCB design, board bring-up, and system level integration
- Troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries using lab equipment and software debugging tools
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products
- Support new developments, active deployments, and customer-operated hardware in a fast-paced environment
- Manage product sustainment in a production process with engineering improvements and sourcing engineering support
- Concurrently manage involvement in multiple projects at various stages
