The Senior Machine Learning/MLOps Engineer will be part of the Applied Intelligence team, responsible for designing and deploying AI systems that integrate data and tools in a digital shipbuilding environment, emphasizing operationalizing AI models and creating a robust industrial AI stack.
Qualification
- Proven experience in machine learning and MLOps practices.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and their application in production systems.
- Experience with data architecture, including data and feature stores, and orchestration layers.
- Familiarity with integrating AI models into existing workflows and systems like PLM, MES, CMMS, and ERP.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
Responsibility
- Lead the design, deployment, and sustainment of AI-enabled systems in a digital shipbuilding environment.
- Operationalize advanced machine learning models and architect the industrial AI stack.
- Define and implement core components such as data and feature stores, vector databases, and model-serving frameworks.
- Integrate off-the-shelf models for computer vision, OCR/IDP, speech, and retrieval-augmented generation.
- Collaborate with software, data, manufacturing, and corporate technology teams to translate factory scenarios into applied AI capabilities.
