The role involves creating strategic plans, monitoring performance metrics, and improving supply chain processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Qualification
- Extensive supply chain knowledge and experience in material flow engineering.
- Proven track record of implementing or improving ERP/WMS systems.
- Experience managing complex, high-value inventory.
- Ability to operate autonomously and motivate a warehouse team.
- Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Responsibility
- Design, develop and implement innovative material management strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize material flow and support production requirements using lean principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, logistics, and quality, for accurate demand forecasting and timely delivery of materials.
- Align material availability with production schedules to minimize disruptions and meet customer demand.
- Own the metrics, KPIs, and reporting for monitoring production line health and efficiency, analyzing material usage trends, and implementing lean practices.
- Support and implement inventory control measures, including cycle counting, regular audits, and reconciliation.
