Qualification
- Experience in data engineering and building data pipelines
- Proficiency in SQL and data transformation tools
- Familiarity with AWS services, particularly Athena
- Experience with data orchestration tools like Flyte
- Knowledge of data management frameworks such as Apache Iceberg
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibility
- Lead the design and roadmap for the data platform
- Partner with operations, product, and engineering to advocate best practices
- Own the ingest and egress frameworks for data pipelines
- Manage data-driven applications and visualizations using Palantir Foundry
- Utilize SQLMesh for data transformations and CI/CD for data pipelines
- Query data using AWS Athena on the data lake
- Implement Apache Iceberg for advanced data management
- Use Flyte for orchestration of data workflows
