The company seeks a Sr. Systems Safety Engineer to join its Reliability & System Safety Engineering team, which ensures product safety and compliance with mission performance and environmental conditions. The role involves utilizing advanced safety tools and methodologies to support various engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
Qualification
- Extensive knowledge of advanced Reliability & System Safety tools and methodologies.
- Experience in safety-focused design and development of aircraft systems.
- Hands-on experience throughout the new product development lifecycle from concept to customer delivery.
- Familiarity with test, analysis, manufacturing, and continuous improvement in a production environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams to drive safety excellence.
Responsibility
- Leverage knowledge of Reliability & System Safety tools and methodologies to enhance safety processes.
- Support Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Hardware & Software development teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Guide Functional Hazard Analysis, Fault Trees, System Safety Assessments, and Hazard Management activities.
- Conduct Hazard Mitigation activities for assigned products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
