Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Robotics Software Engineer for their Air Dominance & Strike team, which focuses on developing advanced aerial and multi-domain robotic systems. The role involves creating autonomy software stacks that integrate computer vision, motion planning, and secure communications, contributing to military capabilities with cutting-edge technology.
Qualification
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
- BS in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in motion planning, perception, localization, mapping, controls, or related systems.
- Strong programming skills in languages relevant to robotics and software development.
- Experience with AI, computer vision, and sensor fusion technologies.
Responsibility
- Write and maintain core libraries and services for collaborative robot teams, focusing on motion deconfliction and contingency management.
- Own major feature development and rollout for complex features, such as terminal-phase autonomy for air vehicles.
- Collaborate with Anduril and third-party vehicle hardware teams, as well as operational experts like fighter pilots and UAV operators, to align on product requirements and iterate designs.
- Develop test plans for live surrogates and ensure robust testing of features before deployment.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of software that enables real-time collaboration among various robotic systems.
