The Analysis Engineer role involves supporting space hardware programs, performing stress analysis, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure design integrity and compliance.
Qualification
- Experience in structural analysis and stress analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Python for modeling and simulations.
- Strong understanding of materials technology and industry standards.
- Ability to perform hand calculations and use analytical methods for design validation.
- Experience in preparing technical reports and presenting findings.
Responsibility
- Support new space hardware programs from concept through launch as a dedicated structural analyst.
- Quantify and document load cases and environments.
- Perform stress analysis to determine strength, life, and safety margins using analytical methods.
- Execute hand calculations, spreadsheet, and MATLAB/Python models for preliminary analysis.
- Develop computational models and simulations to predict dynamic environments and stress distribution.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering disciplines to guide design decisions based on analysis results.
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to internal teams and customers.
- Support design, instrumentation selection, and data processing of tests to validate models and predictions.
