Qualification
- B.S. in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience in aircraft systems integration.
- Siemens NX proficiency.
- Excellent communication and team skills.
- Familiarity with aircraft and military standards.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance.
Responsibility
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of avionics and mission systems within aircraft.
- Create and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for secondary structures and system components.
- Conduct simulations and analyses to validate designs against performance requirements and regulatory standards.
- Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production.
- Lead design reviews, run analysis, visit vendors, define and execute hardware test plans.
- Support critical hardware demonstrations with customers as needed.
- Travel to test sites as needed.
