The role involves architecting and building ground control automation software, implementing user interface applications, and collaborating with a diverse team to enhance military capabilities through advanced technology. The position offers opportunities in web/cloud, mobile, and embedded software engineering specialties.
Qualification
- Experience with full stack development, particularly in web/cloud technologies (React, AWS).
- Familiarity with mobile development (Android) and embedded software (Linux/NixOS).
- Strong understanding of real-time systems and user interface design.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience in defining and implementing APIs and services.
Responsibility
- Design, build, test, and deploy real-time moving-map user interfaces for commanding missions and teams of autonomous systems.
- Define and implement APIs and services for datalink network communications, situational awareness and telemetry, robotics control and configuration, and sensor data.
- Develop with modern full stack technologies for C2 platforms.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure user requirements are met.
- Collaborate with specialist teams like Command and Control (C2), Perception, Autonomy, and Manufacturing.
