The Forward Deployed Engineer at Anthropic will work closely with strategic customers to drive AI adoption by developing and deploying advanced AI applications. This role requires a blend of engineering expertise, customer engagement, and a strong understanding of AI technologies, particularly in the context of enterprise deployments. The position involves significant travel and the opportunity to shape the company's approach to customer engagement in AI.
Qualification
- 4+ years of experience in a technical role, preferably in AI or software engineering.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and their applications in business.
- Experience with customer engagement and relationship management.
- Ability to work autonomously and thrive in ambiguous situations.
- Excellent communication skills to represent Anthropic at customer sites.
Responsibility
- Work within customer systems to build production applications with Claude models, ensuring that these products meet customer requirements.
- Deliver technical artifacts for customers like MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills that will be used in production workflows.
- Provide white glove deployment support for Anthropic products in enterprise environments.
- Identify and codify repeatable deployment patterns and contribute insights back to our Product and Engineering teams.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the latest developments in LLM capabilities, implementation patterns, and AI product development stacks.
- Build long term relationships with customers and proactively identify new opportunities for AI deployment throughout the lifecycle of an engagement.
- Travel frequently (25-50%) to customer sites to build in person with customers.
- Be a champion for Anthropic’s mission in the field.
