The AoPS Academy is seeking a passionate Language Arts Instructor to teach advanced students in a collaborative classroom setting. The role involves engaging students through a company-created curriculum, managing classroom dynamics, providing feedback, and building relationships with students and families. This position is part-time, requiring availability during after-school hours and weekends, and is located in Frisco, TX.
Qualification
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in education or a humanities field is strongly preferred.
- Strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and/or grammar.
- Experience teaching or tutoring students is necessary.
- Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred.
Responsibility
- Teach Engaging Curriculum using company-created materials for advanced students.
- Engage Students through student-led learning activities.
- Manage Classroom dynamics for up to 16 students.
- Grade & Provide Feedback on tests and assignments.
- Build Relationships with students and families to enhance their educational experience.
- Inspire Learning by encouraging critical thinking and a love for language arts.
