Art of Problem Solving
The AoPS Academy is seeking a passionate Math Instructor to teach advanced math to students in a collaborative classroom setting. This part-time position requires engaging with students, managing small classes, and providing feedback on their progress. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a STEM-related field, and experience in teaching or tutoring.
Qualification
- A Bachelor’s degree is required
- A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred
- Strong content knowledge in math
- Experience teaching or tutoring students
- Availability to teach during weekday after-school hours and/or on weekends
Responsibility
- Teach Engaging Curriculum using company-created materials for advanced students
- Engage Students through active involvement and student-led learning
- Manage Classroom effectively with up to 16 students
- Grade & Provide Feedback on tests and assignments
- Build Relationships with students and families to impact their educational journey
- Inspire Learning by encouraging a love for math and critical thinking
