AoPS Academy is seeking a passionate Math Instructor to teach advanced students in a collaborative classroom environment. The part-time role involves engaging students, managing classrooms, providing feedback, and inspiring a love for learning. Candidates must be available for evening and weekend classes in Mountain View, CA.
Qualification
- A Bachelor’s degree is required
- A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred
- Strong content knowledge in math
- Experience teaching or tutoring students
- Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred
Responsibility
- Teach Engaging Curriculum using company-created materials for advanced students
- Engage Students through active involvement and student-led learning
- Manage classrooms of up to 16 students effectively
- Grade tests and provide constructive feedback
- Build relationships with students and families to impact their educational journey
- Inspire a love for learning and critical thinking in math
