About Atlas
- Atlas is the concierge charge card built for those who expect more
- unlocking access to world-class dining, luxury travel, and lifestyle experiences, while making spending seamless. Our members are discerning, high-spending individuals and companies who rely on Atlas for insider access, curated service, and unmatched reliability. In just two years, we've organically scaled to hundreds of millions in spend volume, growing double digits month over month. Backed by Y Combinator, Valar Ventures (Peter Thiel), Eric Schmidt, Elad Gill, and other leading fintech and consumer investors, Atlas is building the modern alternative to Amex Centurion, with a high-margin, high-growth model and a clear path to over $1B in spend volume. Our team is lean, senior, and fast-moving, with experience across Apple, Robinhood, Instacart, Rimowa, Revolut, and more.
The Role
We're looking for a Head of Dining to lead one of the most important and differentiated parts of the Atlas experience. This person will own our dining concierge operation end to end, from team performance and fulfillment strategy to restaurant relationships and service standards. You will help define how Atlas delivers exceptional dining access at scale, building the systems, partnerships, and operating rhythm that allow us to consistently deliver for members with speed, precision, and taste.
This is a foundational leadership role that sits at the intersection of hospitality, operations, and product. You'll work closely with internal teams across Member Services, Product, and AI while also representing Atlas externally with top restaurant partners and high-profile members. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in NYC.
What You'll Do
- Lead and grow the dining concierge function, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management across key markets
- Set clear team goals, service standards, and KPIs tied to fulfillment quality, response times, recommendation quality, and member satisfaction
- Build and refine SOPs, workflows, and escalation paths that improve how dining requests are triaged, fulfilled, and tracked
- Develop and maintain relationships with top restaurants, hospitality groups, and strategic dining partners in priority markets
- Own the quality bar for the dining experience, ensuring Atlas consistently delivers thoughtful recommendations, strong outcomes, and white-glove execution
- Partner cross-functionally with Product and AI teams to improve internal tooling, automate repeatable workflows, and scale the dining operation without compromising service quality
- Monitor member demand trends, city-specific inventory dynamics, team performance, and operational data to inform staffing, strategy, and roadmap decisions
- Act as a senior point of escalation for complex or high-stakes dining requests involving VIP members or hard-to-access venues
- Represent Atlas's dining capabilities in conversations with members, partners, and leadership, helping shape how we position dining as a core part of the Atlas value proposition
What We're Looking for
- 7-12+ years of experience in high-end hospitality, dining, concierge, or luxury service environments
- Experience leading teams in fast-paced, high-touch, high-expectation settings
- Deep knowledge of the restaurant landscape, including hard-to-book venues, premium hospitality standards, and VIP client expectations
- Strong operational leadership skills with a track record of building and improving systems, not just executing within them
- Experience managing service quality, team performance, and fulfillment outcomes using clear metrics and processes
- Excellent judgment and communication skills, with the ability to balance member delight, business priorities, and operational discipline
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and the bar for execution remains high
- Experience at a startup or high-growth company
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, or AI teams
- Existing relationships within top restaurant groups, hospitality operators, or culinary networks in major markets
- Familiarity with concierge tools, CRM systems, and operational platforms used to manage high-volume service environments
You Also Bring
- A service-first mindset and genuine care for delivering exceptional member outcomes
- Strong taste and attention to detail, especially in moments where quality and nuance matter
- High ownership and a willingness to build from scratch where structure does not yet exist
- The ability to stay calm and decisive in high-pressure situations
- Strong instincts for when to go deep operationally and when to think strategically
- A collaborative working style and low-ego approach to leadership
