Benchling is seeking a Technical Solutions Architect to support biotechnology companies by integrating their R&D Cloud software into complex IT ecosystems. The role involves collaborating with customer developers and IT leaders to design impactful solutions that enhance scientific progress.
Qualification
- B.S in a life sciences discipline or engineering/computer science
- 5+ years of client-facing software implementation experience
- Expertise in life sciences R&D and complex software systems
- Strong knowledge of modern SaaS technologies
- Experience in designing and delivering cloud-based solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibility
- Lead technical consulting engagements with IT professionals in biotechnology to understand their IT landscape and recommend solutions using Benchling.
- Design, prototype, and oversee the delivery of cloud-based integrations and automations on Benchling’s developer platform.
- Engage with product and engineering teams to communicate customer feedback and align solutions with Benchling's roadmap.
- Collaborate with project managers to enable complex rollouts at large enterprise customers, identifying technical risks and designing solutions.
- Build and deliver demos or POCs during initial implementation stages to ensure stakeholder alignment on proposed solutions.
- Contribute to Benchling’s technical documentation and developer platform product roadmap.
