Blockworks is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in data architecture and a passion for the crypto industry. The role involves leading the design and implementation of data pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving operational efficiency in a fast-paced startup environment.
Qualification
- Significant knowledge of the crypto industry; must be crypto native.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with data modeling and schema design.
- Experience with PostgreSQL databases and data warehousing.
- Proven track record of facilitating engineering teams to increase productivity and quality.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, design, and infrastructure.
Responsibility
- Own Data Sourcing Pipelines and architect data warehousing and ingestion strategies.
- Design and Implement ETL Solutions, including accessing blockchain nodes and sourcing data from third parties.
- Grow Shared Knowledge by providing technical leadership and guidance to the team.
- Drive Operational Efficiency by improving data workflows and automating routine tasks.
- Collaborate with Research, Product, and Engineering teams to lead initiatives and enhance collaboration.
