Candid Health is seeking an Analytics Engineer to enhance their data modeling and analytics capabilities, playing a crucial role in the company's strategic investment in data-driven technology for healthcare providers. The role involves building data models, improving data infrastructure, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enable impactful data products.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or another data-intensive field.
- 4+ years of experience in Data Science, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering.
- Experience with data models, data pipelines, and performing analysis.
- Hands-on experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Strong understanding of SQL and experience in complex data environments.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery), Metabase, Terraform, Python, and DBT.
Responsibility
- Own Data Modeling as a Practice: Build and deliver critical reporting, analytics, and data models for varying use cases.
- Set the Foundation for Future Data Work: Improve and scale data infrastructure to support future ML and AI products.
- Implement New Processes and Systems for Data Collection and Analysis: Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate tooling and visualization platforms.
- Extrapolate data for meaningful outcomes and ensure operational excellence in data practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
