They are seeking a Sales Manager based in Abidjan to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention for their international payments platform, contributing to the company's impact in African markets.

Qualification

  • Proven experience in sales and account management, preferably in a tech or financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of customer needs and ability to address challenges effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with a hands-on approach.
  • Familiarity with the international payments landscape and emerging markets.

Responsibility

  • Acquire new corporate customers in Côte d'Ivoire and expand to the UEMOA region.
  • Identify customer challenges and convert leads into long-term customers.
  • Drive repeat transactions by nurturing existing customer relationships.
  • Guide new customers through the onboarding process for effective platform use.
  • Conduct outbound calls to trigger first-time payments and support early adoption.
  • Engage with inactive and churned accounts to identify reactivation opportunities.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and address requests and complaints promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to product improvements.
