Careem is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the architecture and development of its AI Agent Creation and Management Platform. The role involves working on backend systems, AI infrastructure, and data orchestration to create scalable AI agents that enhance customer experience and streamline operations. This position is part of the AI Acceleration Office, which aims to build an intelligent layer for Careem's ecosystem.
Qualification
- Proven experience in software engineering with a focus on AI and backend systems.
- Strong knowledge of AI technologies and frameworks, particularly in building intelligent systems.
- Experience with designing and implementing APIs and orchestration pipelines.
- Familiarity with state machines and performance monitoring in software systems.
- Ability to mentor and lead engineering teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
Responsibility
- Architect and implement foundational services for Careem’s Agentic AI Platform, including agent creation APIs, orchestration pipelines, state machines, and monitoring layers.
- Design abstractions for multi-agent collaboration, memory persistence, and reasoning cycles.
- Lead the development of intelligent systems that connect LLMs, context, memory, and state into real-time adaptive agents.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices and architectural decisions.
- Influence Careem’s long-term AI platform strategy through hands-on leadership and innovative design.
