Casap is a Series A startup based in San Francisco, focused on automating banking disputes and combating friendly fraud. The company seeks experienced Backend Engineers to enhance their rapidly scaling product, leveraging automation and AI to transform banking operations.
Qualification
- Minimum of 6+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in Go or Java.
- Experience working on platform teams and contributing to system architecture.
- Led end-to-end implementation of key product features or re-architecture of platform services.
- Strong problem-solving skills with understanding of algorithms and design patterns.
- Experience mentoring junior team members and leading project teams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Responsibility
- Develop and maintain reliable backend systems for chargeback management.
- Scale and generalize the system for growth, ensuring configurability and flexibility.
- Architect and develop robust architectural patterns for microservices.
- Design and implement core frameworks and libraries for backend services.
- Upgrade coding practices, CI/CD pipelines, and backend programming languages to enhance performance and security.
- Identify areas for improvement in infrastructure and systems, implementing optimizations.
- Own the end-to-end development and deployment of key features.
