Chewy is seeking a passionate Control Systems Engineer for their fulfillment center in Reno, NV. The role combines technical expertise in automation and controls troubleshooting with engineering problem-solving skills to enhance operational performance and reliability of automated systems.
Qualification
- Passion for Automation & Engineering.
- Confirmed understanding of controls troubleshooting, conveyor systems, and PLC Programming.
- Extensive technical experience as an industrial technician focused on automation and controls troubleshooting.
- Ability to work under pressure during downtime situations.
- Master problem solver mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture.
Responsibility
- Analyze and address sophisticated automation equipment challenges to provide effective control system solutions.
- Understand, maintain and address material handling control systems, including PLC controllers and industrial networks.
- Partner with FC Operations leadership, equipment vendors, and parts suppliers to complete root cause analysis and coordinate solution implementation.
- Observe MHE metrics and partner with maintenance/operations for system performance issues and provide analysis across all FC's.
- Act as the technical consultant for Automation and Control projects inside the building.
