Software Engineer II

We are seeking a Software Engineer II in Boston, Massachusetts, to design and build software components for services and platforms. The role involves collaboration with stakeholders, participation in agile methodologies, and ensuring best practices in software development.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field and 3 years of experience, or a Master's degree and 1 year of experience.
- 1 year of experience in software engineering.
- Experience developing software components and/or services using Java 8, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JQuery, JSON, AngularJS, Tomcat, HTML5, CSS3, Spring MVC.
- Experience working with web services (SOAP/HTTP, REST).
- Experience with SQL and developing modules with relational databases.
- Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and automated testing using tools such as Selenium/Jmeter.
- Experience with AWS, Terraform, Agile/Scrum, and continuous integration using Jenkins.
Responsibility
- Participate in the definition, design, development, testing, and implementation of software functionality using agile methodology.
- Build and modify scalable distributed software systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technology teams to implement desired features and enhancements.
- Ensure technical solutions are reliable, maintainable, and scalable under sustained load.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Identify, isolate, and resolve software malfunctions.
- Create and evolve system-related documentation.
- Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to operational excellence.
