Qualification
- Senior-level experience developing backend systems for large-scale SaaS platforms.
- Proficiency in object-oriented languages such as Java, Kotlin, C#, and comfort working in a mixed stack.
- Experience architecting and designing backend services in a microservices environment.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic or Kibana, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating system risks.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), design patterns, and Agile methodologies.
- Skilled in SQL and relational databases, with a clear eye on performance and maintainability.
- Strong communicator who collaborates well across teams.
Responsibility
- Partner with Product, Design, and QA to bring features to life from ideation through deployment, iterating with the end-user in mind.
- Design and develop backend services and APIs that are robust, maintainable, and user-friendly.
- Champion engineering excellence through practices like automated testing, thoughtful code reviews, and effective monitoring.
- Push for simplicity and eliminate unnecessary complexity while delivering reliable, high-quality software.
