The company aims to improve socioeconomic mobility through its app-based platform. They are seeking a Platform Engineer to design and maintain scalable infrastructure, develop backend services, and manage cloud infrastructure in a fully remote environment.
Qualification
- Experience in high-growth startup environments or fast-paced agile teams.
- Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong DevOps mindset with experience in production systems.
- Experience building and supporting web and backend systems using cloud-native tools.
- Ability to communicate clearly and proactively with team members.
Responsibility
- Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform.
- Develop and support backend services using TypeScript, NestJS, and Node.js.
- Interface with MongoDB and Postgres databases to ensure performance and reliability.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services like EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Build reusable infrastructure modules and internal tooling to improve development velocity.
- Own the full lifecycle of platform features from design to production support.
