Collibra is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their Test Engineering team. The role involves participating in testing activities within a Scrum team, promoting testing knowledge, and driving improvements in testing strategies. This hybrid position is based in Brussels, requiring at least two days in the office each week.
Qualification
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Test Automation.
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools (JIRA or similar).
- Experience in Java and/or TypeScript with automated testing tools (Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured).
- Experience with DevOps, Gradle, Jenkins, and Docker.
- Ability to coach developers and other SDETs.
Responsibility
- Participate in testing activities in the Scrum Team and assist in executing testing strategies.
- Develop and promote testing knowledge within an Agile team and assist developers in testing.
- Share experience on testing tools and drive experimentation for improvements.
- Define and maintain metrics to promote testing awareness within Engineering.
- Promote a shift-left approach in testing across Engineering.
- Drive Test Data definition and develop scalable frameworks and tools.
- Review requirement specifications and user stories for feedback.
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts and Test Automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured).
- Work on continuous integration of scripts using Jenkins and drive continuous testing.
- Identify, document, and track issues.
