CoreWeave is seeking a Systems Kernel Engineer to enhance the stability and performance of its Linux-based infrastructure. The role involves debugging kernel-level issues and working with a diverse hardware/software ecosystem. CoreWeave is a cloud platform focused on AI, providing advanced infrastructure for innovators.
Qualification
- Strong experience with Linux kernel development and debugging.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, C, and bash/sh.
- Familiarity with performance monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Victoria Metrics.
- Understanding of modern workloads and their impact on kernel performance.
- Experience with various hardware architectures including Intel, AMD, ARM, and Nvidia.
Responsibility
- Debug kernel-level issues and analyze system crashes, panics, and dumps.
- Upstream fixes and features to improve performance and reliability of the Linux kernel.
- Collaborate with the HAVOCK Team to enhance system stability and performance.
- Work across a diverse hardware/software ecosystem including CPUs, GPUs, DPUs, networking, and storage.
- Contribute to the evolution of CoreWeave’s Linux-based infrastructure.
