Crunchyroll is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Core Infrastructure team. The role involves managing and scaling systems for their streaming platform, utilizing cloud technologies and DevOps methodologies to create scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DevOps practices and a strong background in cloud infrastructure, particularly with AWS and container orchestration.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in production-level environments as a DevOps/SRE
- Proficient in AWS cloud technologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Pulumi and Terraform
- 3+ years of experience managing containerized infrastructure in ECS or Kubernetes
- Experience with GitOps practices and CI/CD
- Experience managing Linux-based infrastructure
Responsibility
- Manage and scale systems and services for the streaming platform
- Develop tools and systems that support services and facilitate software delivery
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure efficient and reliable systems
- Guide teams on best practices including observability and incident management
- Initiate improvements and introduce new technologies and processes as needed
- Share knowledge across teams to enhance overall performance
