The Enterprise Account Executive for Databricks Japan will focus on acquiring and growing enterprise accounts in the Kansai region, specifically within the Manufacturing sector. The role involves building relationships with C-Level executives, expanding Databricks usage, and driving sales growth through a deep understanding of customer needs and effective negotiation strategies.

Qualification

  • 5+ years of experience selling multi-million dollar complex software deals to recognizable organizations in the Enterprise segment
  • Experience selling to Enterprise Retail/CPG customers in Japan
  • Knowledge of segment priorities, buying processes, and decision-making processes
  • Background in selling usage-based SaaS solutions or Data/AI/ML technologies
  • 5+ years of experience in sales methodologies and processes, e.g., account planning, MEDDPICC, value selling
  • Ability to build customer champions and collaborative teams for implementation
  • Understanding of how to develop and manage a partner strategy

Responsibility

  • Secure new logos and expand within enterprise accounts in the Manufacturing sector
  • Expand Databricks use cases in existing and newly won accounts
  • Establish C-Level relationships with Engineering, Platform, Architecture, and Data Science roles
  • Build value in engagements to guide successful negotiations
  • Plan, document, and drive the growth of Databricks usage for customers
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer's business
  • Provide leadership to customers and technical teams
  • Identify important data use cases and buying centers to increase Databricks impact
  • Orchestrate Databricks teams and ecosystem partners to maximize sales impact
