The Resident Solutions Architect at Databricks will engage with clients on big data challenges using the Databricks platform, focusing on data engineering, data science, and cloud technology projects. The role involves providing technical guidance, building reference architectures, and ensuring successful project implementation while delivering excellent customer service.
Qualification
- 10+ years of experience with Big Data Technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, Cloud Native, and Data Lakes in a customer-facing role.
- 6+ years of experience working on Big Data Architectures independently.
- Strong experience in the Databricks ecosystem.
- Proficient in coding with Python or Scala.
- Experience across Cloud Platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Strong documentation and white-boarding skills.
- Ability to build skills in technical areas supporting Databricks-based solutions.
Responsibility
- Work on impactful customer technical Big Data projects including building reference architectures and production-grade MVPs.
- Guide strategic customers in implementing transformational big data projects and 3rd party migrations.
- Consult on architecture and design for successful adoption of Databricks.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Customer Support to provide feedback and resolve product issues.
- Document and whiteboard solutions to support customer projects.
