Qualification
- 9+ years of experience in Data Security or related fields
- Expertise in Cryptography, Kubernetes Security, Web Security, Governance, Privacy, Trust, Safety, Authentication, Identity Management, Access Control, Key Management, Inter-Service Authentication, Secure Application Frameworks, Detection & Response
- Experience building systems at large scale internet companies is a plus
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to create a vision and define strategy for security engineering
Responsibility
- Identify and address key security gaps in Databricks' infrastructure and services
- Attract and recruit top talent in the security engineering field
- Represent the security engineering discipline across the organization
- Advocate for data-driven decision-making in security practices
- Represent Databricks at academic and industry conferences and events
