Databricks is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect for the Retail and CPG sector to lead technical strategies for large enterprise accounts, focusing on data-driven transformations and the adoption of ML & AI technologies. The role involves collaboration with Account Executives and hands-on resources to drive product adoption and build technical champions within client organizations.
Qualification
- 5+ years of experience in large accounts (> $1m ARR) in the Retail and CPG space.
- 3+ years in a pre-sales capacity or supporting sales activities.
- Technical expertise in big data, data science, and cloud technologies.
- Experience in data-driven business transformation and driving change with data.
- 3+ years of design and implementation experience in big data technologies (Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, OLAP).
- Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
- Databricks Certification is a plus.
Responsibility
- Serve as the main technical voice for Databricks with 1-5 clients.
- Lead customers on a transformational journey to evaluate and adopt Databricks solutions.
- Implement technical strategies aligned with Databricks offerings.
- Build a movement of technical champions within client accounts.
- Provide structured mentorship for team members.
