The Solutions Architect role at Databricks focuses on pre-sales activities within the Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sectors. The position requires a strong technical background in big data, data science, and cloud technologies, with an emphasis on machine learning and artificial intelligence. The successful candidate will work closely with account executives and clients to define technical strategies, drive data-driven transformations, and mentor team members.
Qualification
- 5+ years of experience in large enterprise accounts, specifically in the Retail and CPG sectors.
- 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales role or supporting sales activities.
- Strong technical knowledge in big data, data science, and cloud technologies.
- Experience in driving data-driven business transformation and change management.
- 3+ years of design and implementation experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, and OLAP.
- Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java.
- Databricks Certification is a plus.
Responsibility
- Serve as the main technical voice for 1-5 clients, guiding them through the adoption of Databricks solutions.
- Lead customers on a transformational journey to evaluate and integrate Databricks into their strategies.
- Implement technical strategies aligned with Databricks solutions in client accounts.
- Build a network of technical champions within client organizations to promote product adoption.
- Provide structured mentorship to team members and support their development.
