The Sr. Resident Solutions Architect at Databricks will be part of the Professional Services team, focusing on customer engagements to solve big data challenges using Apache Spark and the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. The role involves guiding clients through the implementation of big data projects, ensuring best practices, and providing technical leadership.
Qualification
- 10+ years of experience in Design and Implementation of Big Data technologies (Apache Spark) and familiarity with data architecture patterns.
- Deep technical knowledge and coding proficiency in Python or Scala.
- Familiarity with GCP/Azure/AWS/EC2 cloud deployment models is a plus.
- Experience working with geographically diverse teams.
Responsibility
- Guide customers in implementing transformational big data projects, including end-to-end development and deployment of big data and AI applications.
- Ensure Databricks best practices are followed in all projects and maintain high quality of service.
- Facilitate technical workshops, discovery and design sessions, and gather customer requirements.
- Assist in estimating project efforts and mitigating risks in customer proposals and statements of work.
- Architect, design, develop, deploy, and document complex customer engagements as the technical lead.
- Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to team members, customers, and partners.
