The Staff Backend Engineer will be responsible for architecting core infrastructure to facilitate AI agents in navigating authentication systems and extracting data at scale, while ensuring high reliability and performance.
Qualification
- 5-8+ years of experience in backend development
- Expert proficiency in backend development with TypeScript/Node.js
- Strong experience with REST API design
- Experience with Docker and cloud technologies
- Experience with data engineering and building scalable data pipelines
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions
- Strong background in web security best practices
Responsibility
- Develop resilient AI agents that navigate web interfaces and extract data from systems without APIs
- Design systems for parallel agent execution and real-time data processing
- Lead technical design of core platform components including authentication layer and data extraction engine
- Establish engineering best practices and technical standards across the team
- Own end-to-end reliability, performance optimization, and capacity planning for enterprise workloads
- Manage infrastructure architecture and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems
- Provide technical mentorship and career guidance to team members
- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives
