The Enterprise Sales Engineer at Datadog will leverage technical expertise to support sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical evaluations. This role involves collaborating with the sales team to communicate the value proposition of Datadog's offerings, engaging with customers during trial phases, and providing feedback to the product team based on customer interactions. The position requires fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, along with a strong background in programming and sales engineering.
Qualification
- Passionate about educating customers on observability risks and executing evaluation plans
- Strong written and oral communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
- Experienced in programming/scripting with Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.JS, PHP, and .NET
- Minimum of 3+ years in a Sales Engineering or DevOps Engineering role
- Ability to travel up to 45% of the time to client sites
Responsibility
- Partner with the Sales team to articulate the overall Datadog value proposition, vision and strategy to customers
- Own technical engagement with customers during the trial phase and address any issues or concerns
- Technically close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge and technical skill
- Deliver product and technical briefings/presentations to potential clients
- Maintain accurate notes and feedback in CRM regarding customer input
- Proactively engage and communicate with customers and Datadog teams regarding product feedback and competitive landscape
