Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience with Software AG ADABAS/Natural
- Extensive experience in database management and maintenance best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with vendor personnel
- Experience in database optimization and performance tuning
- Ability to work in a team and provide on-call support
Responsibility
- Perform mainframe database software upgrades and administration
- Monitor and tune Software AG ADABAS environments
- Conduct database maintenance including backups, restores, and reorganizations
- Create and maintain disaster recovery procedures
- Provide 24x7 on-call support as part of a rotation
- Document all tasks and adhere to change management policies
- Optimize database performance and conduct performance reviews
- Assist with new client onboarding and support customer requests
