Exa is seeking a versatile Designer to enhance developer-friendly experiences across web and brand. The role offers creative freedom to lead initiatives and requires strong visual design skills. The Designer will work on brand identity, product growth, and collaborate with marketing and engineering teams.
Qualification
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong background in graphic design and brand development.
- Expertise in UX/UI principles for complex technical products.
- Frontend engineering, motion design, or illustration skills are a plus.
- Great storytelling skill through visuals or writing.
- 3+ years of experience, with ideally at least 1-2 years of in-house design experience.
- Ability to thrive in high velocity, high growth, scrappy startup environments.
Responsibility
- Lead Exa's brand identity and maintain brand guidelines across all platforms and touchpoints.
- Explore visual designs in Figma and translate them into web-native experiences.
- Identify and pursue new areas of product growth; create and iterate on product flows and high-fidelity visuals.
- Work with marketing on branding initiatives that can extend across various channels.
- Collaborate with front-end engineering to develop the flow, layout, and features of the API playground.
- Design website landing pages that highlight search capabilities for different industries.
- Streamline the complex information hierarchy for high-compute search—Websets.
