Five9 is seeking an Asset Architect to join their Professional Services development team, focusing on delivering software products that enhance their cloud contact center offerings. The role emphasizes cloud architecture, development, and delivery using modern tools and methodologies, particularly within the Google Cloud Platform. The position is remote and requires a self-starter who can work independently and lead complex software development projects.
Qualification
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure best practices, especially Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in continuous integration and test/production environment infrastructure.
- Experience as a full-stack developer with a strong software development background.
- Familiarity with end-to-end tool chains including project definition, source control, and test automation.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Git, JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, and bash scripting.
- Familiarity with Docker for building and publishing secure images.
- Understanding of cloud-based software development architectures and web-based API interfaces.
- Proficiency with Unix-based operating systems and command line usage.
Responsibility
- Design and implement cloud architecture solutions using Google Cloud Platform.
- Lead the development of software products that augment core offerings.
- Utilize continuous integration practices for test and production environments.
- Define project work, drive progress, and provide visibility using Jira and Confluence.
- Collaborate with remote teams via web conferences and chat tools.
