The role of Legal Counsel for Croatia and Bosnia involves managing legal functions for a fast-growing multi-category app company. The position requires collaboration with local teams and the HQ legal team to ensure compliance with regulations and to handle various legal matters, including commercial agreements and corporate governance.
Qualification
- Experience in legal counsel or similar role
- Strong understanding of commercial law and compliance
- Ability to analyze and draft legal documents
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in both Croatian and English
- Experience working with external law firms
- Knowledge of privacy and labor regulations
Responsibility
- Report to the Legal Director ITSEE in all related functions
- Be the main responsible for Croatia and Bosnia legal functions
- Elaborate, review and analyze all types of commercial agreements
- Provide legal advice and ensure compliance with regulations applicable to the business
- Collaborate with external law firms
- Support in the analysis and implementation of strategies
- Support in the implementation of corporate governance policies, special projects and reporting functions
- Participate in due diligence, evaluate risks, elaborate corporate documentation
- Get your hands dirty – when there is a problem, you will find a way to fix it
